We all understand that there are budget cuts, but really, sometimes, it’s the little things that annoy you the most. In an effort for corporate to save money, they are going around setting all the thermostats in the office (and using nails so we can't change it back). It’s not bad enough that they gave us a pay cut and a furlough day, but now, we can't even be comfortable while we work just as hard, for less. My comment isn't about my boss, but just about how companies disregard their employees. We all understand that there are budget cuts, but really, sometimes, it’s the little things that annoy you the most. I was stunned, especially the first time, but I went ahead and wrote myself up, submitted it, and got one of twelve commendations awarded in the entire USA. <br><br>The second time, I said, "This doesn't seem too heartfelt - having to write myself up."
